Hi,
I am able to connect to our Kepware UA server. However I had to enable security to connect. Without security the app will stop. I have another off site server that requires no security.

Also under the browser, the Up button next to the References does not work. Therefore, I could only monitor or write to one data item.

All others work great!

Thanks,
Anthony

Thanks for the feedback. It sounds a bit odd that you need security with the Kepware server – and the up may also depend on the server providing proper (inverse) references for items. Does it work fine from the Java Client application or SampleConsoleClient of the SDK – have you tried?

We have some ideas of improvements to it: I hope we find the time to work on that soon. Stay tuned…

I mainly wanted to test the Android app for our project. Can the java app be run on Android? I want to add that the “up” button works until I start monitoring the item.
Another question, can we purchase the SDK and add custom code or graphics for our application need?

Thanks,
Anthony

Hi Anthony! Unfortunately the OPC UA Java Client doesn’t run on Android, only OPC UA Android Client runs on Android. Regarding the custom code and graphics for the Android Client, I sent you some email.
