I have a controller from Sabo PLM and has OPC UA server integrated in it.I am able to connect my PLC with Prosys Client in my PC but when i try to connect with the Prosys android in my mobile it doesnt connect, what could be the possible reason.What technology is involved to connect my PLC with mobile if my server is itself my PLC .

Hello,

The connection mechanism is completely same with PC based or Android based Prosys OPC UA Client.

First thing to check is that the network allows connection from the Android phone to the PLC. Meaning that there’s no firewalls or similar blocking the connection. As an example, try pinging the ip-address of the PLC from the Android phone.

Second thing to note is that you should start by testing the connection with security mode none and enable the security settings once the connection happens succesfully.
