Hi all,
I have just installed version 5.4.2-129 and I cannot access the folder MyObjects on the left panel, under the ‘Objects’ tab.
If I click on the ‘Objects’ folder, I see that the reference to the folder MyObjects exists, and an UA client can see it.
I can though, see the Simulation folder in this panel, something like:

Objects::FolderType
> Simulation::FolderType

Is this a bug or a feature?

Hello,

MyObjects and StaticData Folders contain hard coded sample Nodes that can not be modified in Objects tab. Them not appearing in the Objects tab is intentional.

They can be removed from the AddressSpace of Simulation Server in Namespaces tab by either:

1) right clicking them and selecting “Edit Namespace…” and then unchecking “Include in Address Space” checkbox and restarting Simulation Server to disable them temporarily or
2) right clicking them and selecting “Remove Namespace” to remove them permanently.

The NamespaceUris are http://www.prosysopc.com/OPCUA…..dressSpace for MyObjects and http://www.prosysopc.com/OPCUA…..taticNodes for StaticData.

Instead of removing or disabling the Folders, would you need to be able to modify them somehow in Object tab?

I don’t want to remove or modify it. I just wanted to reuse it and set values manually.
All clear now.
Thanks.
