Though the Sample Client application is comprehensive enough to cover all aspects of client actions typically performed such as browsing, reading, writing, subscription etc. However its still distracting for a very first user of the sdk when he is interested in learning/using just one or two things at a time , say reading node values first, then writing values to nodes , then subscribing to a set of nodes , etc…. It will be nice if the sample application is broken down to a number of smaller samples doing these tiny tasks, for a quick understanding of user. More over, he can customize these smaller examples to meet his requirement in his client application. Right now even if he wants to use say just read or write , he has to fish out and extract sections of code that may be his interest which may be just <10% of the given sampleConsoleClient application.
Any thoughts how to focus on relevant information? For example user has to go thru code of Event processing, or History reading , etc when is in not interested in it at the moment. This may be distracting and may cause delays in his evaluation.
Any thoughts on this?

Thanks for the input, this is something that needs to be considered. There’s a SimpleClient application in the samples, which provides an example of a minimal client application. However, the step from SimpleClient to SampleConsoleClient is big.

Thanks for the reminder. Yes I remember the simple client application with 60 lines of code. It will be a good starting point for me. I can add additional functionality in it one by one a build my client application. However similar working snippets for additional functionality will also be very useful. The SampleConsoleApplication (although its very well commented and structured) takes time to grasp.

thanks a lot , Great Work!Smile

On second thoughts it makes sense to have one single sample comprehensive client application which covers all topics like the SampleConsoleClient example given even if takes time to understand it. We get a complete picture in one example.
