Hello Prosys.

First of all, sorry if I am not posting in the right topic.
Could not really decide between : Prosys OPC UA Java SDK and Prosys OPC Client…

I would like to know more about the Event View in Prosys OPC UA Java Client.
Is it already totally working or still in dev ?

My UA Server deals well is other OPC UA Client (Unified Automation UaExpert) with Alarms & Events
but I cant use it with your client.
My problem is that I can not add an OPC UA Object (with EventNotifier set to SubscribeToEvents) to the Event view where
is written “Drag Nodes Here”…. So I really cant do nothing with Alarms & Events.
However Attributes and References view and Data view are working like a charm ;)

Regards.
Camille G.

Which server are you using? It works against the Java SampleConsoleServer, but indeed it looks like it does not work with UA DemoServer (it gives a stack overflow to the console).

However, the Server object is selected by default and it should give you all events from the server.

We will investigate this a bit more.

Hello,
I am using my own in development OPC UA Server.
I didnt really check but it might come also from my Server since for the moment it does not support monitoring Events from the Server Objects, only other Object with EventNotifier set to SubscribeToEvents.
I will test with the Java SampleConsoleServer trying to catch the difference…

OK. If you can run the client from the console, you should see the exceptions there. You can report that here as well.
