Hi;
I can use the item name in the opc da:
For example: item name =” S7: S7 connection_1 DB503, W48″.
But I can only get these in opc ua:(NodeID ns=3;s=S7 connection_1.db503.0,b),How can I get ” W48″ value?
I’m not just new to the opc ua.

Looking forward to your help.

Hi,

Bit hard to say without further info. Probably you need to configure the server so that the tag shows in the UA address space. I would use a graphical client first to make sure that the node exists in the address space, e.g. our http://prosysopc.com/products/…..ua-client/; or UaExpert.

I’m sorry
The system automatically format.
Prosys OPC UA Client is Only show the two nodes “db10.0,b”and”db10.length” Under the “db10” node.
But I’m in the OPC UA Client project can also read with a “db10.2,w” nodeid values,
why?
Prosys OPC UA Client Did not show “db10.2,w” this nodeid,But I can use it to read the values,But I don’t understand.
Any help to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Please consult the server documentation.

Its might be possible that a node exists in the address space without having a hierarchical reference to any parent. This means it wont show up in the client, but, it is still possible to e.g. read their attributes if you know the NodeId directly. I would say its a bit unusual if the server has such nodes / that the server documentation would mention it. It might also be a bug / configuration issue in the server.
