I have a need to get the full BrowseName-path from the root of a node. Is this possible to achieve with an API call in the SDK, or do I need to recurse and keep track of the path in the tree so far?
Example:
Address space is:
Objects -> Server -> SomeNode -> SomeOtherNode
From SomeOtherNode, I then need to get the full path “Objects/Server/SomeNode/SomeOtherNode”.

At the moment it is not possible, so you will need to traverse inverse hierarchical references back to the root yourself. The problem is that it is not necessarily unique, so it is not trivial to provide a reliable method for that in the SDK.
We have been thinking about the idea that it would be useful in general to have such a feature – to display the context of a node, for example, but have not had the possibility to design anything useful, yet.
