Duplicate References from NamespaceArray and ServerArray

All Java SDK based servers, even without any added nodeManager, seem to expose duplicate inverse “propertyOf” references between the NamespaceArray and Server Object as well as the ServerArray and the Server Object. Forward “hasProperty” references from the Server Object are singular as expected.

I also tried a very much stripped down version of the sample server code, which shows the same behavior.
I observe this behavior using UAExpert; ToolKit version 1.4.4.

Is this the result of an error in my code, a bug/feature of the toolkit or possibly some glitch in UAExpert?

Regards, Hans-Uwe

I just tested with the latest SDK 1.4.8 (or actually the latest development version) and UaExpert 1.2.2 and cannot see this behaviour. Can you update to the latest and recheck? Have you checked if the Java Client shows the same?

It sounds odd, since the SDK should ensure that all references are bidirectional, and that there are no duplicates between the same nodes.

I tested meanwhile with the unaltered Java SDK’s SampleServer application (latest SDK version), UAExpert and the Prosys OPC UA Client. Both clients indeed show duplicate references of type “PropertyOf” from the namespaceArray and serverArray nodes. I see even more duplicates in my custom server. As mentioned before, the corresponding hasProperty references are singular.

Thanks. And yes, I can now reproduce the problem with version 1.4.8. It seems that it’s fixed in 2.0 beta. There’s something odd here indeed, but I will check that it gets fixed.
