I create a client and try a connect to the server and the server isn’t available. And the client don’t know when the server comes up.

Is it possible by the SDK that the client waits X seconds until the server is available and then it connects.
And I will get an exception after X seconds if no connection were possible?

Hi,

Currently the initial UaClient.connect must be called manually and succeed in making the connection. After that if there is communication breaks the client will reconnect automatically.

You can call the connect in a loop in application level logic to retry making the initial connection.
