Hello,

I encountered this error when connectiong a Beckhoff OPC UA server (on a CX9020):
Bad_NoCommunication (0x80310000) “communication with the data source is defined, but not established, and there is no last known value available.

I tried with the client from UA expert , everything is working fine.

As far as I understand the error message seems to comme from the OPC UA server, but how come I don’t get the error message with another OPC UA client…?

Hi Sebastien,

This error code is set by the Prosys OPC UA Historian for example in the situation where there’s a connection break between the Historian and the underlying OPC UA server.

I already sent you an email about the matter, let’s continue from there.
