Hello to all

I am checking the performance testing of this OPC UA java client with the Ua Demo server from unified automation and i have been connected to the demo server with the
none security type as other securities are not working.

All the browse data and nodes are coming inside the java opc ua client

But how to check the round trip time of this java client….please suggest me any useful information if you have

with best regards

Sam

Hi Sam,

Currently the desired feature of checking round trip times is not possible in the Prosys OPC UA Client. In principle, this would be a nice feature but practically speaking this is not in the current roadmap of the application.

As for the security issue: in order to use other security mode than “None”, the server needs to trust the client Application Instance Certificate. In the context of UaDemoServer, this means moving the client certificate file from folder C:\ProgramData\UnifiedAutomation\UaCPPServer\pkiserver\ rejected
to folder
C:\ProgramData\UnifiedAutomation\UaCPPServer\pkiserver\trusted\certs

Also, you need to trust the server certificate in the client. The client application will prompt you for this.

Hello Mr. Heikki,

Thanks a lot for such a good reply

I have moved the rejected certificates into the trusted certificate folder, but still the problem is same, when i am connecting the sign security with Basic256 , it says it cannot connect this kind of security to the server.

one more question any idea you can give me so that i can check the performance of this prosys opc ua java client??

with best regards

Sam
