Hi
I am try to connect to Siemens PLC with delphi xe10
I have enable the opc ua server on the PLC.
I can connect with UaExpert and se the PLC. so the opc ua server is running.
my plc server address is: opc.tcp://10.10.101.210:4840
Application name: SIMATIC.S7-1500.OPC-UAServer:PLC_2
There is no security enable on the plc
what shall I write in the TPsOPCServer componet in Delphi!
Host-> 10.10.101.210:4840 !!!!!!
ServerName-> SIMATIC.S7-1500.OPC-UAServer:PLC_2 !!!!!!
When i Try this it says
Cannot identify server ‘SIMATIC.S7-1500.OPC-UAServer:PLC_2’ at ‘10.10.101.210:4840’ : Could not connect to OPCEnum Service at ‘10.10.101.210:4840’ : RPC-Serveren is not avilble

Unfortunately, Prosys Sentrol does not support OPC UA, yet. So TPsOPCServer can only be used with OPC Classic servers.
We have OPC UA support for Delphi in the works and hope to be able to provide it for evaluation in a couple of months.
In the meantime, your option is to use UaGateway to convert between OPC Classic and OPC UA.

Hi…i am a new user here. What I do not understand is why updated S7 hardware requires not updated TIA (for example v13 update 3) but a TIA V14. There is no new feature just supporting an update on the already supported hardware. Why do I need to buy a new TIA V14?
