We are using Beckhoff CX5020 PLC (c/w V2.11.2229) in a water treatment project. CX5020 PLC is running MS Windows Embedded Standard SP3 by Beckhoff. TwinCAT OPC Server is installed on CX5020 PLC.
We have 2 desktops running Windows 7 Pro SP1 32-bit for SCADA (Ecava Integraxor 4.1). Integraxor comes with it’s built-in OPC client. When we attempt connection of Integraxor OPC Client with TwinCAT OPC Server over the LAN – we get OPC Enum error!
We load an OPC Client on the CX5020 PLC and the connection is successful. It is only when OPC Client and Server are on separate PCs and connecting over the LAN.
Any assistance is appreciated.
thanks.
P.S. Beckhoff engineers (Germany) are clueless.
