Hi all

I am new here, just registered. Greetings to everyone.

Let me start with a suggestion: Please upgrade the security of your forum.
I find it quite ironic that you suggest a fancy password policy with 12 characters, special chars etc, but your page uses http instead of https AND the password entered is not even masked!
So the password can not only be easily be extracted from the network traffic by someone listening in, it can also be seen by your co-workers while being entered for the first time.
I dare not ask how they are stored.

Thank you for your note – apparently you are absolutely correct and we will switch the forum to use HTTPS right away.

We are relying on SimplePress in the forum, which is one of the most popular platforms, but it does not remove the concerns that you have and our responsibility to ensure that the we apply appropriate security settings.
