UAGateway does not update items on DA side

Setup:
I currently have the UAGateway V1.4.9 installed on my PC that also contains a Matrikon OPC DA Browser, connected on the other side of the UaGateway is a Siemens T3000 system which talks OPC UA.
I can connect to the UaGatway with the Matrikon DA Client browser and the first time it establishes connection for an item it will bring int he value, after that the values will not update. I will have to poll the item again for an updated value.
Any ideas on why the data is not updating my OPC Client when the value changes on the Siemens UA side?

Does the data update, if you connect directly to the OPC UA server with Prosys OPC UA Browser, for example?
