Hello,
I have some vague information from one of my customers, who uses an OPC UA server made in Delphi with your product. He tells me that the number of subscriptions he can use is limited to about 200, while he needs to be able to use more, which is not usually a problem for him with other OPC UA servers.
I looked in the code but didn’t see anything related to such a limitation. Is this something that can be set, or is it a software limitation?
I think the client will be able to give me more details in a day or two, but I would like to clear up as much as possible without waiting.

Is it related to that property ?
UaServer.SubscriptionManager.MaxPublishRequestCount
But the default value is 100, not 200…

Actually, I don’t find any limits for the number of subscriptions from the current implementation – although there probably should be something. So, let’s wait for more details.
Which version of the library are you using?

Hello,
My customer has just sent me new informations. He did some testing with the UA client from http://www.commsvr.com/, “OPC UA Viewer”, I guess you know.
According to him, after about 100 subscriptions, a fault appears with a “BadUnexpectedError” message when creating the subscription.
I did some tests with this client, but I could not reproduce this problem. I was able to create over 200 subscriptions without too much difficulty. The main difference is that the client and the server are on the same station for me, and on two different stations for him.
Does this problem remind you of anything? I don’t see how I could have any control over the problem. Moreover, the customer insists that he does not have this problem with other OPC UA servers, to clear the OPC client.
If you have any suggestions on how to move forward on this issue, thank you in advance.

That sounds strange, yes. If it would be related to slow connections, you might expect a BadTimeout.
