HI,
I’m currently encountering difficulty generating Time series values within the OPC UA server simulation software. Whenever I opt for the DateTime datatype, it fails to produce any values. Despite my efforts to locate relevant documentation, I’ve been unsuccessful thus far. Do any seasoned professionals have insights into generating random or incremental time series values? Any guidance or shared documentation would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
At the moment, Simulation Server supports simulating only constant Values for Variables with DateTime DataType. There are currently no plans on supporting simulating non-constant DateTime values.
However, Simulation Server is already generating time series with its Simulations of other DataTypes, such as subtypes of Number, Boolean and String. Is there a particular reason you would need to have a Variable with DateTime DataType in your use case?
