Hi,

I’ am trying to establish a connection between Plantsimulation 14 and Prosys OPC UA Simulation Server …
Plant Simulation states the following:

Connection to the OPC server failed: The server does not support the requested service. (CreateSession)

Debug Log on the Server states that Service CreateSessionRequest is not supported …

Any Ideas? Workaround?

Help is much appreciated 🙂

Hi,

You did not list the connection address used. I see a high probablity that you used the base address without the servername part, i.e. please make sure that the address is:

opc.tcp://YourHostNameOrIPHere:53530/OPCUA/SimulationServer

The base without the servernamepart runs an internal DiscoveryServer that does not support sessions, only the discovery calls.

Hi,

thanks for the answer …
Seemed to be a problem on Plant Simulation Side … I updated all interface class Lib’s + Base Version to 14.2.2 … now everything works fine 🙂
