Hi….
I am very new to simulation server, i am interested to learn about this.
Actually, i am able to create server and client android application with help of your wonderful document.
Also, i am able read and write the values to the sever. But after writing values to sever, i want to increment my counter value from the newly stetted value. The current behavior of the sever is if i set the run simulation value delay for 5 sec, the values will increment by one every 5 sec, that’s perfectly fine.

But when ever i modifies that value i want it to increment from the new value. For example, actual values is 10 and after 5 sce it’s 11. After 11 i write new value 5 to that filed . next i want that value has to be increment from 5. means after 5 sec value should be 6. but actually i am getting 12. i want it to set to 6 ,7 ,8 ect.. like that

Can you please help me on this query how to do this.

i hope you understand my question.

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

That is a scenario we do not currently support. Basically it is sort of a bug that you can even write to the simulation signals.

All signals in recent released versions are mathematical functions of time, including counters, i.e. they are independent from previous values. This was made so that history could be simulated “infinitely” for them.

There are some static nodes in the Objects/StaticData/StaticVariables that are not simulated and can be written.
