OS: Windows
IP-> 192.168.1.45
ProSys OPC Simulation Server Version: 5.0.0-217
Prosys OPC Browser Version: 4.0.6-268
-Comp_2:
OS: Linux
IP-> 192.168.1.47
ProSys OPC Simulation Server Version: 5.0.4-284
Prosys OPC Browser Version: 4.0.6-268
Comp_1 and Comp_2 both have Prosys OPC Server and Browser installed and running on them.
Comp_2’s Browser is able to connect to the localhost OPC simulation server as well as Comp_2’s Simulation server.
Comp_1’s Browser is able to connect to the local host OPC Simulation server, BUT Doesn’t connect to the Comp_2’s OPC simulation server.
Wireshark packet Shows Connection reset by the someone on that port, apparently OPC simulation server.
UPDATE:
I am not sure what solved the issue, But this is what I did.
I installed 5.0.0 on Linux in another directory, Didin’t work even after closing the 5.0.4 version.. was getting invalid URL error.
uninstalled it, restarted the 5.0.4 version, suddenly my custom client on Windows starts getting the values from this.
