Hello All,
I am new in this community. I am using Prosys OPC Simulation server and using Labview as the client. From the connection logs, i can verify that the connection gets estalished, however Labview client issues an error “The nonce does not appear to be a random value or is not correct in length”. Your suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Hello,
Based on this information, the best educated guess is that the client is sending an incorrect clientNonce in the CreateSession request. The server then rejects this session creation attempt and returns Bad_NonceInvalid StatusCode with the mentioned message. The client application Labview then shows the error message in the user interface.
The connection most probably works correctly when using security mode none. If the same error happens also with security mode none then please let us know and we can investigate further.
This check is something that the server application needs to do according to OPC UA specification. You should report this issue to the Labview developers and ask them to check if there’s something wrong with the nonce that is sent in the CreateSession request.
