Hi there,
I have a simulation server running with both TCP as well as HTTP endpoints.
I tried establishing HTTPS connection by copying my URL to the browser(Mozilla), it comes as GET METHOD NOT SUPPORTED.
Is it the case that, HTTPS works only with Prosys Browser? Please let me know.
Regards,
Rakshan

Hello,
OPC UA HTTPS is a transport protocol for exchanging messages over SSL/TLS connection between an OPC UA Client and an OPC UA Server. Since Mozilla is not an OPC UA Client, the message it sends to Prosys OPC UA Simulation Server doesn’t follow the OPC UA HTTPS transport protocol, which results in failing to connect to Simulation Server.
You can connect to Simulation Server using OPC UA HTTPS with Prosys OPC UA Browser, Prosys OPC UA Monitor, OPC UA Client applications developed with Prosys OPC UA SDK for Java and other OPC UA Client applications that support OPC UA HTTPS.
See https://reference.opcfoundation.org/v104/Core/docs/Part6/7.4.1/ for more information on OPC UA HTTPS.
