Hi guys,

is it possible to create a variable of type ByteString or ByteArray in the Prosys Simualtion Server an how can I do that? I am new to OPC and it’s hard for me to find the appropriate data types.

Hello,

Simulation Server doesn’t support adding Variables with ByteString DataType or ValueRank other than Scalar. However, the AddressSpace contains some sample Nodes for testing and there is a Node with ByteString DataType (ns=5;s=ByteString) and another Node with Byte DataType and ValueRank OneDimesion (ns=5;s=ByteArray).
