Hello
Happy new year.
I have got a question :
Each time, there is a new version of the modbus server we receive a mail to indicate it
We receive it and need to manually make the update….
In case of the email is loose, need to ask to the main website the last version….

Have you plan in the modbus server, like a modern software, to have the possibility in a menu to check last version online and to download it directly without long procedures…and particulary when software is bought….

Hi,

Thanks for the feature request.

Generally we are aware that the way updates work currently is a bit outdated way. I hope we can offer that kind of feature in the future, but in practice it does need some changes on how we make the installers currently (let’s just say the javapackager tool is not the most easiest one to work with). Possible changes in that is scheduled for this year (the fact that javapackager is no longer available in java 11 does help), so the feature you requested is easier to do after that is done.
