Hi,
I am trying to connect to my OPC UA Server, which is hosted on different machine, using SampleConsoleClient version 3.1.4-514 and getting below error message.
I am using security mode None.
ServiceResult=Bad_UnexpectedError (0x80010000) “An unexpected error occurred.” Diagnostics=Diagnostic Info:Â
Certificates in endpoint and CreateSessionResponse not same.
But i am able to connect to my local simulation server.
Can you help me here.
Also, does Prosys Java SDK client library can be used to connect to any OPC UA Server or some specific OPC UA Server?
Also, does Prosys Java SDK client library can be used to connect to OPC DA/HDA?.

Answered via email, but just in case anyone else has this problem:
This was a known issue in that version (3.1.4), was fixed in 3.1.6 (https://downloads.prosysopc.co…..sion-3-1-6). Or in some cases it can actually be a bug in the server side implementation so UaClient.setValidateCreateSessionResponseCert(false) must be called (this was added in 3.1.6).
Generally we should be able to connect to any OPC UA Server (that is made according to the specification).
The Java SDK cannot connect to any OPC Classic servers (OPC DA/HDA), as that is completely different technology.
