Hello,
I am new to Android development. I’ve created a new project in Android Studio which seems to insist on using Kotlin DSL instead of Java? In any case, the following doesn’t work:
try {
val client = UaClient()
client.setAddress(UaAddress.parse(“opc.tcp://localhost:26999”))
}
catch (e: Exception) {
// handler
Log.e(“MainActivity”, “EXCEPTION!” + e.message)
}
finally {
}
when I step over the “client =” line it jumps to the “finally” with no error in Logcat. I guess if I did something wrong, I would have expected it to at least jump to the “catch.”
I assume I properly added the Prosys evaluation .jar file or it would not compile.
Bill
