The help section of that tool is quite good, I suggest checking that first (i.e. Help->Contents).
Some of the nodes we used for testing are in ComplianceNodeManager (com.prosysopc.ua.server.compliance package) so you could start with those, but unless you keep that in your application it is better to use the the nodes that always exist in your server. Also as a tip you want to keep those nodes with constant namespace indexies since the settings of the CTT uses the namespace index in nodeids. Also in the settings you can use the “Open Browser” button to see the address space of the server and drag-and-drop nodes from the tree view to the NodeIds settings to avoid typing.
