Hello,
Using the Prosys SDK on both the server and client side, it is pretty clear how reading historical events should be carried out. Right now we are using historyReadEvents() to read historical event at the client side. Is there another method in the API that could be used to read events? For example historyReadRaw()?
We are currently integrating towards another party, which is in the process of implementing support for historical access to events, and do not use the Prosys SDK. I’m not too familiar with the actual OPC UA protocol, but I suppose that reading historical events is standardized, and that the Prosys SDK adheres to the standard. Would this be the case? If there are multiple ways of reading historical events in OPC UA, could you give us pointers to what parts of the OPC UA standard the historyReadEvents() implements?
Thank you,
Arild Nilsen
