Is there any possibility (Listener, etc.) to get notified on the server side when a client has received a NotificationMessage (due to a subscription containing MonitioredEventItems) ?
We do not want to use Alarms and Conditions, we need a mechanism to notifiy the server implicitly whenever a subscription of a client has caused a notification to be sent on the server side (and the client received it).

Hello Reinhard,
Thank you for the question. Unfortunately the functionality that you described is not available in the Prosys OPC UA Java SDK.
In theory it would be possible to follow sequence numbers that the client sends back to the server and gather information about what events are received by different clients. However, this doesn’t sound like the most convenient or practical way. The purpose of the sequence numbers is that the Server may delete the Message with this sequence number from its retransmission queue.
As the OPC UA specification already contains acknowledgeable condition types, I would suggest that you just use those types.
