Hi all,

I would like to know if there is any limit in the number of TCP/IP connections to the Prosys OPC server. I have a server developed with Prosys OPC Java SDK, and an external client is making around 100 TCP connections to the server. There is a moment when the server refuses any connection, so I don’t know if there si any limitations in the library scope.

Hello,

Maximum number of sessions is defined in the SessionManager class. Default value is 100.

This session limit can be set via SessionManager. For example, SampleConsoleServer modifies this session count to be 500:

server.getSessionManager().setMaxSessionCount(500);

One other thing, the MaxSubscriptionCount in the call:

server.getSubscriptionManager().setMaxSubscriptionCount(500);

is per session or a total value for the server?
