Hello everyone,
I want to use the following dependency for a Maven project in IntelliJ, but I always get an error that this dependency is not found in the Maven central repository:
com.prosysopc.ua
prosys-opc-ua-sdk-evaluation
5.2.8-105
Does anyone of you have an idea if this dependency is still usable and if so, how can I get access to it? I already searched on Reddit and in other forums, but I couldn’t find a sufficient answer.

Hi,
Our SDK is not in maven central; it is a commercial product. Please follow the instructions in the SDK zip you have downloaded (after requesting evaluation https://prosysopc.com/products/opc-ua-java-sdk/evaluate/).
Navigate to and see (sdk.zip.root)/maven-integration/Readme.txt, copied also below:
“The folder ‘maven-install-helper’ contains a Maven project which can be used to install the SDK to your local (.m2) Maven repo/cache.
You will need to run ‘mvn install’ in the ‘maven-install-helper’ directory (or via your favorite IDE).
NOTE! SDK contains optional dependencies, please refer to the main README.
You might need to edit the POM file inside the ‘data’ if developing on android or wish to remove
the optional libs required for OPC.HTTPS transport protocol.”
(The ‘maven-install-helper’ is a folder next to the Readme in the ‘maven-integration’ folder).
After that the sample pom.xml in the ‘samples’ folders should work. Please note that once you buy the SDK, you will need to edit your pom.xmls since the artifactid is different for each edition (and evaluation is “one edition” for this purposes).
