Hi guys,

I get some problems with the java SDK, when I run my application with Eclipse, it works perfectly.
But when I export the application as a .jar file, application stays blocked on the “client.connect()” method .

Is somebody able to help me?

Thanks

Hi,

Without more information it’s hard to say
Can you post the console log? Which library handling option did you chose in eclipse export page? Which security mode you are using (none or something else)? Which SDK version are you using (version number)?

There is nothing on the console log because it works with Eclipse.
I tried to connect with security none, Basic128 sign and Basic 256 and it’s always the same problem
In Eclipse I exported as a Runnable jar with all libraries inside.
My version of the sdk is 2.0.0-194

Can you try with “Copy required libraries into a sub-folder next to the generated JAR” option. At least the bouncy castle wont work if you package them as a single JAR (the bouncy castle jars are signed and merging them as one JAR will break the signature).

Also you could try with 2.0.2 as it contains a number of fixes http://www.prosysopc.com/produ…..e-history/

Also might be related: in case you use/have the log4j configuration file inside the jar, do not use PropertyConfigurator.configureAndWatch when initializing log4j (just configure).

It works with “Copy required libraries into a sub-folder next to the generated JAR” option.
Thank you for all.
