Hi Team,
I was trying to connect a Kepware UA server with the sample client provided with library but its failing with below error stack. Any idea what to be looked into to resolve this issue.
We have used Security None and the kepware server is also confirmed with Security None. Please advice
Exception in thread “main” com.prosysopc.ua.SessionActivationException: Failed to initialize User Identity Token: Bad_IdentityTokenRejected (code=0x80210000, description=”Anonymous UserTokenType is not supported”) ServiceResult=Bad_IdentityTokenRejected (0x80210000) “The user identity token is valid but the server has rejected it.”

Hi,
The error message means that the Kepware server does not accept UserTokenType Anonymous. In other words, you need to use username/password authentication or alternatively user certificate and private key.
Please see Java SDK Client tutorial chapter “5.3 User Identity” for instructions on how to set client to use certain username and password. The tutorial document is available in the “doc” folder of the SDK package.
It’s good to notice that the supported user authentication modes are defined by the server. This means that you need to study the Kepware server documentation in order to know the supported UserTokenType. Probably you need to configure a certain user account on the server side and then set the corresponding username and password in the client application.
