Hi all,
I’m trying to create parts of my server’s addressSpace from one or more NodeSet.xml descriptions (generated with UAModeler). After removing the and tags, parsing doesn’t throw exceptions. The namespaces are added to the server including their respective nodeManagers. Just the actual “objects” do not show up when browsing. What am I missing?

Many thanks for your support.

Here is the simple test Nodeset.xml along with the code extract:

URI uri = MyServer.class.getResource(“test_nodeset_from_modeler.xml”).toURI();
ModelParser mp = new ModelParser(myServer.server.getNodeManagerTable());
mp.parseFile(uri);

Just noticed, that the XML didn’t come through (has been scrambled in this post). I can send it in per email as needed.

The current “official” way to load the XML is to use server.getNodeManagerTable().loadModel(). We have not documented this too much, yet (since it’s not fully tested with UaModeler generated models), but it should work in general. Please, confirm if it works for you.

We are actually working on improved modelling support to be included in the SDK 2.0. More about that later, when we have something to publish…

This works very well so far (based on a very simple model with just 2 nodes). Removing the UaModeler’s extensions is not too much work and really pays off in this case.

Are you eventually planning the extraction/export of a NodeSet.xml from a live server addressSpace portion as well? I’m building a rather complex custom aggregation server and would like to export parts of the aggregated addressSpace.

Many thanks for your quick response above.

The latest parser (maybe it’s in the 2.0 beta only?) should ignore the extensions as well.

That hasn’t been planned yet. We will need to consider it later, though.
