Hi,

You are probably using SecurityMode other than None and haven’t configured the server to trust client and vice versa. Please see client tutorial chapter “5.4 Validating Server Certificates” or similarly server tutorial chapter “3.3 Validating Client Applications via Certificates”. I suppose that you are using Java SDK SampleConsoleServer as the server.

If I understood correctly, you’re using Prosys OPC UA Client for Android as the client application. In this case you do not have to configure anything in the client end, you just have to configure your server to trust the application instance certificate of the client.

Hi,

Why do you think that there’s something going wrong? The mentioned logging statement is normal and shows a successful session creation.

The Server Says:

I presume that you have checked the “Secure connection” checkbox in the Android Client.

Is the client able to connect if you do not check that box? Meaning that you connect with security mode ‘none’.
