I have a question regarding the code generation tool that is part of the Java SDK.
I am writing a client to monitor data from a opc ua server. To generate java classes I need the model in the NodeSet2.xml format regarding the description in the Readme.md.
Now what I wanted to know is whether there is a way how I can generate a NodeSet2.xml file via UaExpert or maybe another tool or do I have to contact the manufacturer for that information?
Thanks in advance!

Yes, in general, you would need to get the information model (Nodeset2.xml) from the manufacturer. An alternative is to make the mode with UaModeler, but if such a model already exists, it does not make much sense to make your own version of it.
In future there may be applications that can export the server address space – or the SDK may get such a feature, but at the moment the only reasonable option is to find the original Nodeset2.xml.
