Hi,
i downloaded your opc_ua client (and also browser) for checking connection to an opc_ua server on siemens S7 1200 device.
The connection work but i see only the variables related to plc specifications such as Model, SerialNumber and so on, but no customs variables published by the opc server administrator.
I think the problem is in the opc_ua server side, i’m right?
The opc_ua server is out of my control, what can i do?
Thank you,

Hi,
The Browser application and the UaClient class of the SDK can only see what is visible via OPC UA, nothing we can do for that from the client side if the server doesn’t make some PLC tag visible.
I assume you did check “all the paths” of the address space (i.e. in our office S7-1500 the variables are in Objects/PLC_1/DataBlocksGlobal , Objects/PLC_1/DataBlocksInstance, Objects/PLC_1/Inputs and Objects/PLC_1/Outputs, but it depends on the PLC and PLC program I think).
So basically contacting the person/instance who manages the PLC is the only option.
