Hi,

I have a problem while connecting to my opc ua server in a LAN. When I try to connect local everything works fine, though when I try to connect UaExpert to my OPC Server over a LAN, UaExpert logs “Could not connect to server: BAdCommunicationError”. I can see my server in the client, but it wouldn’t let me connect. I suspected the Firewall to interrupt the communication, but even when I switch it completely off, it doesnt work. I use “Anonymous” and no security policy so far. Is there a way to get any further information about the problem? Plus, has this warn message anything to do with the problem:

07/11/2016 10:53:39.679 WARN Could not register server (offline) to Discovery Server at opc.tcp://spectraFlow:4840 Cause: Failed to retrieve endpoints. The server is not available: opc.tcp://spectraFlow:4840

Did you modify the Bind Addresses? You can always enable more logging and see what you get there. If the client cannot connect at all, the most obvious explanation is that the socket cannot be reached or it is not being listened to.
