Hello,
i have a problem with the Data Types. I created a model with UaModeler. Then i generated java classes from the nodeset.xml with the Java codegen from prosysopc. I use DataItemType and Boolean.
Now the problem is: When i connect to the server i can see all the Variables, but when i change the state of the boolean, i get the message Write to node ….. failed [BadTypeMissmatch]. I’m using UaExpert as OPCUA Client.
If i don’t initalize the Variables, the DataType is set to UInt16, why is that?
Thanks

Hi,
I” try to check/recreate the situation. I’m not sure if UaExpert uses the DataType Attribute or last read value as a base for the data type when writing.
Did you create a new type which is a subtype of DataItemType or just instances from the DataItemType? Did you set the DataType Attribute of the Nodes?
It would be lot easier if I can see the model xml or the code which initializes the nodes, if possible. If unpractical to paste here, you can send them to uajava-support@prosysopc.com
