I am trying to connect to a PLC(ABB PM5650) OPC server using security mode “NONE” and “Anonymous” authentification but the cleint failed to connect by displaying “Bad_IdentityTokenRejected:Anonymous UserTokenType is not supported”. I used the simple client code from the samples too, it throws the same error.

I tried to connect using the UaExpert Client as an “Anonymous” client with “NONE” security policy and it connects.

I tried to connect with the same code but the older version of the SDK and it connects.

How could I solve the problem in SDK 4.0?

FYI: I tested with a Siemens S7 PLC OPC server and it works with the same code.

Hi,

Most likely this happens due to a bug, which we fixed on 4.0.2 (https://downloads.prosysopc.co…..sion-4-0-2). Therefore please try with that and report if it didn’t help.
