Hi! I am evaluating the Client SDK and I am wondering how do I access the alarm data. I am currently evaluating the client SDK against the ignition opc ua server. I used their designer tool and created an alarm tag (if the selected tag value > 50). With their designer tool, I am able to see the alarms data surface each time the condition requirement met.
Will I be able to see the alarm data via the SDK? I ran across an image of your client tool and I think the answer is yes. but I do not know how.

Also, for the event types thrown by the server, how do I find out their types?

Thank you!

Check the Client Tutorial, chapter 11. You can see in the example that the EventType is requested as a field for the events.

Thanks! We have not been able to see the alarms coming in with the sample client and kept failing when trying to subscribe to the event item and getting the following exception.
com.prosysopc.ua.StatusException: Bad_FilterNotAllowed (0x80450000) “A monitoring filter cannot be used in combination with the attribute specified.” StatusCode=Bad_FilterNotAllowed (0x80450000) “A monitoring filter cannot be used in combination with the attribute specified.”

The error occurred when subscribing to the eventnotifier for the selected node that I know will throw alarms.

Events can only be listened for Object nodes, which define the EventNotifier attribute with the value of SubscribeToEvents.

If you wish to get all events, you can listen to the Server object.
