Hello,

It seems that OPC UA Historian create value in table valuehistory at each interval when the connexion is not OK.
Is it correct ?

PS: OPC UA Historian write in table valuehistory only when data change when the connexion is correct.

Hello,

This appears to be a bug in Historian. If the Historian service is started when there is no connection to a Source Server, the service will periodically attempt to create MonitoredItems for Collection Items and, due to the lack of connection to the Source Server, this will fail and this failure is logged into valuehistory table. While logging this failure once is a good thing as it makes clear why there is no data for a Collection Item, logging it multiple times clutters the valuehistory table for no real benefit.

This bug might be fixed in a future update. If you would need a fix urgently, contact sales@prosysopc.com
