Hi,

I just installed the OPC Simulator on a Windows Server 2016 Azure D2 instance. When I go to the simulation tab, then select the “Signal Type” drop down, the application appears to freeze. A black box appears where the drop down should be. Am I installing on unsupported infrastructure?

Hi,

The Prosys OPC UA Simulation Server is unfortunately not tested on Windows Server 2016 or on the Azure platform. Please note that this is a free general purpose test server.

If the Simulation Server works otherwise correctly, you can try making the desired configuration on other platform (for example your own PC) and then moving the configuration files to the server machine.
