Thank you for the question. You can connect to the Prosys OPC Simulation Server by running the UaGateway configuration tool and going to the ‘Devices Address Space’ menu (enable ‘Devices Address Space’ from View-menu if it’s not enabled by default). Then select ‘OPC COM DA Servers’ and press ‘Add Server’ in the ribbon on the right. Under the ‘Local’ selection you should now see the ‘Prosys.OPC.Simulation’ which is the Prosys OPC Simulation Server application.

Our recommendation is to always install UaGateway and the OPC Classic applications on the same host computer and to run them using the same user account. This will minimize the need for COM/DCOM configuration.
