Hi,

I have developed a Delphi OPC server application, using Prosys Sentrol, where the data provided by the server is refresh once a second with a timer and it works fine.

In order to make the process more efficient, I would like to know if it’s possible to, instead of using a timer to refresh the OPC server data, detect when the client requests a reading and refresh only that data before sending it to the client.

Unfortunately, there is no such option available at the current version. There is some experimental code in the classes that might enable it. If you have the source code, it can be made available.
