Hi,
I am testing your OPC server classic functions, before I will also switch to UA. I use the SDK for Delphi XE5.
There is one thing I can’t get right. When I start several clients simultaneously, the exe program that contains the server is started in a new process instance for each of them. However, I see that it is theoretically possible with objects to have several clients.
For the moment I have only implemented the instructions contained in the classic version tutorial. Is it necessary to use other properties to obtain the desired behaviour, i.e. a single process instance for all clients? If so it isn’t clear for me at the moment.
On the other hand I have seen hints of a more complete OPC classic server example, but I don’t see where to find that, can you point me to it if it exists please?
Thank you in advance
Denis

Sounds like a DCOM configuration issue. If the OS doesn’t find a server that the client can access, it will spawn a new one.
Check that you are running the processes with the same user account, if possible.
The Classic Simulation Server comes with some default signals and source code. But it’s still very basic. Check it out, anyways.
