Hi Prosys,

I am running OPC UA server in my Ubuntu server and I have installed “Prosys OPC UA Client” in same Ubuntu server. I am able to access OPC UA server from Prosys OPC UA client in Ubuntu server.
Now, I have installed “Prosys OPC UA Client” in my window machine. When I try to connect to my OPC UA Server in ubuntu server, I am getting error, “Error=Cannot discover applications from opc.tcp://”. But I can able to access simulation server “opc.tcp://uademo.prosysopc.com:53530/OPCUA/SimulationServer” from Prosys client in window machine.

Can you please help me to solve this issue?.

Note that this is wrong forum (this is for the classic OPC Client application), the correct one would be the Prosys OPC UA Browser forum (https://forum.prosysopc.com/forum/opc-ua-client/, the application was renamed in 4.0.0).

But in general most likely you will need to open port in the firewall of the ubuntu machine so that it can be connected to.
